A little late in the season to be looking at such an item, but hey...it's cute. It's a strange day when you can casually mix an animal print so perfectly with big crazy flowers. The texture this tunic offers is definitely an added bonus. The layered fabrics used on the flowers add depth to what could be an overly simplified design.

I'm such a sucker for strange cover ups.  I really wish more people would take advantage of these great fashion accessories.  It's always so disappointing to walk the beech seeing women struttin' their thang when there exists such a simple fashion item to aid them in their quest.  A cute tunic can carry a geometrically challenged women into the hottie realm instantly.  Try one on next time you're doing some beach combing and I think you'll find that the eyes will be on you rather than the dreaded bikini bulge every curvy beauty suffers from.

As always I have to tip my hat to Letarte for bringing us such a great design.

This hanger top from Esprit is sweet! It's got a weird picture of a fish on it, and what's not to like about that.  I also dig the way the back hangs across the shoulder blades.  Very cute.

Found this beauty recently on NetFlix.  Its a girls in prison film made in japan around 1972.  The sets are terrific, the action is funny, and there's the much expected lesbian sex scene.  If you enjoy the genre then I highly recommend Female Prisoner #701: Scorpion.

I guess I'll validate this entry by stating what got me thinking about this film in the first place.  Right away the first thing I noticed about the films wardrobe was the prison uniforms that the women wear.  It's a blue tie died long shirt with white stripes.  It actually resembles some of the things a girl could find on the rack today.  I find it funny how something made thrity-six years ago can look so modern.  Not to say that you should buy, wear, or make anything remotely resembling a prison uniform...but hey if it's cute? Work those duds baby!
